Cortinados Confort — operations platform
A full operations platform for a curtain manufacturing business: clients, scheduling, AI-assisted measurements, quoting, production, delivery and its own online store — all in one system.
This project has no public demo. The case focuses on the problem, the decisions, and the outcome.

The problem
Measurement schedules lived in spreadsheets and loose WhatsApp threads. Overlaps, lost notes between the office and field staff, and no traceability from first contact to quote, manufacturing, and delivery.

What we did
End-to-end design and development: data model (55+ database migrations), multi-role architecture, integrations and deployment to production.

Key decisions
- Modeled the real workflow (measurement, quote, manufacturing, installation, delivery) so every order is traceable across six user roles with row-level security.
- Gave field staff a mobile flow: my visits, start route, digital measurement sheet, close the visit. GPS events mark on the way, arrival, and leave.
- Integrated AI-assisted measurement capture, WhatsApp and email notifications, and a quoting module with items and structured totals.
- Built the storefront and its e-commerce admin on the same platform, so the store and the operation share one source of truth.

Outcome
A production PWA on Vercel: admins, branches, measurers, and installers work in one system. The office sees the day in a calendar; the field updates it from the phone. Next phases include formal PDFs, stronger background notifications, and fuller offline support.
