The problem
The company sells made-to-measure curtains, awnings, and cortinados, plus a priced catalog. The catalog fits a product page. A made-to-measure curtain needs a quote: the price calculated from the dimensions, saved, turned into a PDF, and emailed to the customer and the company.

What we did
Led ecommerce from 2015 to 2021: the online store, social channels, and a three-person marketing office. A new site was live by 2021. Since 2021, ongoing maintenance: hosting, the migration, DNS and SSL, updates, security, email, catalog, and payments.

Key decisions
- The public store runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, with the Flatsome theme and PHP 8.1. The catalog lists about 230 products with a price, including curtains, awnings, and home lines such as mattresses, linens, and furniture. Checkout charges with Fiserv, and Payway is integrated as well.
- Transactional email goes out through WP Mail SMTP. Corporate email is on Zoho.
- I built the online quote tool, a separate PHP app. It calculates the quote, saves it, generates a PDF, and emails it to the customer and the company.
- In October 2026 I migrated hosting from DonWeb to Neolo (cPanel, Let's Encrypt SSL).
